Delete your account
You can delete your FQPS Academy account at any time, from inside the app or on the web.
How to delete it
- Sign in to FQPS Academy.
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Choose Begin account deletion and confirm by typing DELETE.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first (Settings → Subscription) so you are not charged again.
What is deleted
Everything that identifies you or records how you used the platform, including:
- Your profile, name, email address and profile picture
- Your sign-in credentials and all active sessions
- Practice attempts, mocks, flashcard reviews and progress history
- Your study plan, notes, highlights, bookmarks and saved cards
- Messages with mentors, and any AI conversations
- Audio and video recordings you made during SQE2 practice
- Notification preferences and push-notification registrations
What we keep, and why
We keep records of payments, refunds and orders for six years, because UK tax law requires it. These are detached from your identity: they keep the amounts and dates, not your name or contact details.
We also keep a minimal, anonymised security and audit record of administrative access, which exists to protect users and cannot be erased on request.
Signing up again
Deleting your account releases your email address, so you can create a new account with it later. That new account starts empty. Deleted data is not recoverable.
